Do I need new windows?</h3><p>No. A misted unit means the seal has failed on the glass, not that the frame is finished. The glass unit is replaced inside your existing frame for a fraction of the cost of a new window.</p><h3>The handle is stiff and the window will not lock. Can that be repaired?</h3><p>Usually yes. Handles, hinges and locking mechanisms are all replaceable parts.</p><h3>Can you stop the draught?</h3><p>Yes. Worn draught seals are renewed and windows that have dropped are re-aligned so they close properly again.</p><h3>Do you replace whole window frames?</h3><p>No. That is a glazing company's job. Everything repairable is repaired, which is usually the cheaper and better answer.</p><h3>How do I know if the glass unit has failed?</h3><p>You get misting or streaking between the two panes that you cannot wipe off from either side. That means the seal has gone and the unit needs replacing.
