What the job involves

Wind takes fence panels down every winter. A broken fence means no privacy and no safe garden for pets and children, so it needs sorting fast.

Broken panels get replaced. Rotten posts get dug out and new ones set in concrete, so the same panel does not come down twice. Gates get repaired and hung so they swing and latch properly.

Common questions

One panel blew down. Do I need to replace the whole fence?

Usually not. Check the posts first. If the posts are solid, a single panel is a quick, cheap fix. If several posts rock at the base, the run is near the end of its life.

Why do posts matter more than panels?

Panels normally survive a fall. Posts are what fail. A new panel fixed into a rotten post just blows out again in the next storm.

Do you supply the panels?

You can buy them, or we can. Sizes vary more than people expect, so measure before ordering.

Can you repair decking too?

Yes. Loose boards and wobbly handrails are made safe, and decking can be treated to extend its life.

Can you paint the fence afterwards?
