What the job involves

Bad tiling shows. Uneven tiles and wandering grout lines stand out in any kitchen or bathroom, and gaps let water into the wall.

Surfaces get prepared first so tiles sit flat. Then tiles go on straight, grout goes on clean, and silicone seals the wet areas.

Sometimes new grout and fresh silicone are all a bathroom needs. You get told when that cheaper option will do the job.

Common questions

My bathroom tiles look tired. Do they all need replacing?

Often not. Fresh grout and new silicone can take years off a bathroom in a day, for far less than retiling. You will be told when that is the better option.

Do you supply the tiles?

You buy them, we fit them. Buy about ten per cent more than the area needs, for cuts and breakages.

Can you do a kitchen splashback?

Yes, splashbacks are one of the most common jobs here.

Can you refit the taps afterwards?

Yes. See tap and toilet repairs.

Do you tile floors as well as walls?

Yes. Kitchen, bathroom and hallway floors are all tiled, as well as walls and splashbacks.

Will you seal around the bath afterwards?

Yes. Fresh silicone around baths, showers and sinks is what keeps water out of the wall, and it is included when we tile a bathroom.

Do you cover my area?

We cover south west London, south London and Surrey, including Sutton, Wimbledon, Kingston upon Thames, Richmond, Clapham, Putney, Wandsworth, Epsom, Leatherhead and Dorking. If you are not sure, call and ask.
