Your furniture gets built square and solid, in the right room. Tall units are fixed to the wall so they cannot tip over. That matters in any home with children. Packaging is flattened and left tidy.

Do you build IKEA furniture?

Yes, and any other flat pack. Bring the instructions if you still have them, though they are not essential.

Will you fix it to the wall?

Yes. Tall units are anchored to the wall as standard. That matters in any home with children, because chests and wardrobes tip forward more easily than people expect.

What happens to the packaging?

It gets flattened and left tidy.

Can you put up shelves at the same time?

Will the doors and drawers line up properly?

Yes. Adjusting hinges and drawer runners so everything sits square and closes flush is part of the job, not an extra. It is also the step most self-assembly skips, which is why flat pack furniture so often ends up with uneven gaps.
