What the job involves

Blocked gutters overflow down your walls. Over time that means green stains outside and damp patches inside. Clearing gutters once or twice a year prevents it.

Gutters and downpipes get cleared and flushed through. Leaking joints are resealed. You get photos of the problem and the fix, so you can see what was done.

Common questions

How often should gutters be cleared?

Once or twice a year for most houses. More often if you have trees close by. It is the cheapest damp prevention there is.

Do I need to be at home?

Most gutter work is done from outside. We agree access with you when the job is booked.

Do you do roof work?

No. Gutters, downpipes and joints are what we clear and repair. Tiles and anything structural go to a roofer, and we will say so.

Will I see what was wrong?

Yes. You get photos of the problem and the fix, because you cannot see the gutter from the ground.

What if the gutter is broken rather than blocked?

That gets sorted too. Leaking joints are resealed, loose brackets refixed, and runs that have sagged are re-levelled so the water actually reaches the downpipe.

Can you paint the fascias while you are up there?
